The Environment and Energy Awards 2010 were held at the National Motorcycle Museum and showcased innovations in sustainable business practice, environment, land usage, energy efficiency and sustainability.

UK Radon Tee coordinators, ProTen Services' ADD Waterproofing, which offers joint waterproofing and radon control for basements, was shortlisted in the Innovation Award for Remediation Technology category.

The evening was hosted by British stand-up comedian, Alun Cochrane who was pleased to lend his support to the Radon Tee campaign. Best known for his appearances on popular TV panel shows including Mock the Week and Have I Got News For You, Alun is described as a "no-nonsense comedian who specialises in funny nonsense".

The glittering ceremony was attended by leaders in the field of sustainability and energy efficiency, and winners included Bovis Lend Lease, Tesco and McDonalds.

US non-profit organisation, CanSAR (Cancer Survivors Against Radon) is dedicated to preventing radon-induced lung cancer and saving lives through education and awareness, and is sponsoring the Radon Tee World Trek 2010. The campaign aims to bring social awareness to communities through the power of photos, videos and personal stories.
